Design Project Day 1


Maria Villamizar, Nicole Hemelberg, and Gabriela Montenegro


DEFINE PHASE (about 15 minutes)
1. Decide who you will make the game for (primary, elementary, middle school or high school), boys/girls/both 
Primary-both
2. Decide on what difficulty level the game will be.
medium
3. Brainstorm ideas about what makes a game fun or successful (at least 5...should be more)
  1. decorated with a theme
  2. clear instructions
  3. make it possible to win
  4. colorfull-atractive
  5. noticable-pretty-striking

RESEARCH  PHASE (about 15 minutes)

improve- he could make the arcade more attractive and colorfull. 
good-it was cheap to play and he had diffrent options

improve-make  a bag where people can put the tickets that they have grabed.
make so that he doesnt have to be there turning the machine on. 
good-it was colorfull and atractive. it was original and easy.

imrpove- make it pretty and put the instructions in a paper beside the game so that he doesnt have to be there to explain.
good- it was a fun game it all worked and possible to win.
   
IDEATION PHASE (about 30 minutes)

2. Brainstorm ideas for your game (make sure to keep in mind your target group and what you think makes a game fun)

point of the game is to through the ball to the whole with most points
make the wholes the mouth of the animals
make 3-d 
3. Choose an idea and lists all the things about this idea that makes it fun/good for the group who will play it.

primary kids will be more attracted to it it if it looks fun.
we can make it really pretty
its for girls and boys

4. Make a list of things that you think could go wrong with your idea and how you can avoid those
that the ball gets lost- there will be 2 extra balls in the inside
it could break- make it more resisitant
